Emiri Directives to Support "Al-Taawun"

A statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) announced that the Secretary-General received high-level directives from His Highness, which emphasized the importance of continuing to support the GCC’s progress and enhancing integration efforts among its member states, in line with the aspirations of their peoples for greater security, stability, prosperity, and development.

In another statement, the General Secretariat noted that during the meeting between the Crown Prince and the Secretary-General, several files related to joint Gulf cooperation were discussed, and efforts aimed at advancing the GCC’s progress and achieving greater integration and coordination among its member states were reviewed, in implementation of the directives of the Council’s leaders.

The Secretary-General also expressed his appreciation to the Crown Prince for the generous support and sustained attention that the GCC’s progress has received from the State of Kuwait, affirming that this support serves as a strong impetus to continue enhancing joint Gulf cooperation, thereby bringing benefits and prosperity to the peoples of the GCC member states.
