Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Enter Kuwait's List of Commercial Activities

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued Ministerial Decision No. (167) of 2026 regarding the establishment and amendment of certain commercial activities, within the limits stipulated in the Unified Guide for the Classification of Economic Activities of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

The decision also included amendments to two commercial activities. Specifically, the activity “Kitchen for preparing meals and supplying aircraft” was amended to “Ground services for preparing meals and supplying aircraft,” and it was classified under accommodation, food, and related services, under the supervision of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition.
