Kuwait Telecoms intensifies efforts to keep pace with regional developments

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber held a series of phone calls with several of his counterparts, during which they reviewed the latest regional developments and discussed diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing security and stability in the region.

The calls included Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Omani Foreign Minister Badar Al Busaidi, Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif Al Zayani, Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty, and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.

For its part, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the contact between Ministers Al-Jaber and Abdelatty came within the framework of continuous consultation and coordination between the two brotherly countries regarding bilateral relations and recent regional developments.

It added that the two ministers praised the deep, historic, and fraternal ties between Egypt and Kuwait, which are witnessing growing development across various fields, emphasizing their shared commitment to continuing to strengthen bilateral cooperation frameworks and build on the existing momentum in relations, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their fraternal peoples.

The ministry noted that the ministers exchanged views on regional developments, affirming the importance of intensifying efforts to de-escalate tensions and contain instability in the region. They stressed the importance of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, the principles of good neighborliness, and safeguarding the security, safety, and freedom of international navigation.
