Rodri at Barcelona tomorrow

Spanish international midfielder Rodri arrives in Barcelona tomorrow, Tuesday, to undergo a medical examination before finalizing his contract with Barcelona during the current summer transfer window.

The Spanish newspaper Sport reported that Barcelona preferred not to have the player undergo the medical check in Manchester on Monday, opting instead for him to travel to Spain on a private jet tomorrow.

The 30-year-old midfielder, World Cup champion with the Spanish national team, will move for approximately 75 million euros, of which Manchester City will receive 60 million euros as a fixed fee, with the remainder consisting of add-ons and incentives that are easy to achieve.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s official account praised the performance of young Egyptian striker Hamza Abdel-Karim during the friendly match against Swiss side Basel, which ended in a 5-2 victory for the Catalan club, as part of their preparations for the new season.
