"City" close to signing Moroccan player Ayoub El Kaabi

English club Manchester City has entered advanced talks with French side Lille regarding the signing of Moroccan midfielder Ayoub El Kaabi.

According to the BBC, Lille’s management values the 18-year-old at around €100 million, following his impressive performances with the Moroccan national team during the World Cup, and after he drew significant attention across Europe for his role in Lille’s victory over Real Madrid in the 2024 UEFA Champions League.
