Al-Jalahma visits "Nashi'at Al-Tayyara"

The Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, visited the Kuwaiti junior national volleyball team at their accommodation in Bahrain to congratulate the players and the administrative and technical staff after they secured third place in the Arab Under-17 Championship. The visit was attended by the Federation President, Dr. Jaber Al-Mari, Secretary-General Talal Al-Namsh, and Board Member Naif Al-Filikaawi.
The “Blue Juniors” claimed the bronze medal after a well-deserved 3-0 victory over their Algerian counterparts in a match held last Saturday in Bahrain.
With this achievement, the Kuwaiti junior national team concluded its distinguished campaign in the tournament, having secured a top position at the Arab level thanks to the strong performances displayed throughout the competition. They earned the bronze medal at the expense of one of the sport’s most prominent African teams, which will participate in the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
Locally, Al-Kuwait Club announced the signing of player Talal Al-Salman to its volleyball squad from Al-Arabi on a free transfer.
