Kuwait Handball Federation Discusses Clubs' Proposals for the New Season

The Kuwait Handball Federation held a coordination meeting with the sports directors of local clubs participating in handball competitions, at the federation’s headquarters in the Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad Center in Daeiyah, attended by federation board member Meshal Al-Qabandi.

The meeting discussed the key positives and negatives of the previous season, alongside reviewing important proposals aimed at developing the sport during the 2026-2027 sports season, both technically and administratively.

The federation also plans to hold another coordination meeting before the start of the new season, bringing together the federation with youth team coaches from the clubs.

For his part, Hussein Saywan, manager of the Al-Salmiya Club’s first handball team, affirmed that the coordination meeting held by the handball federation, attended by club sports directors, was fruitful and featured discussions on many important aspects that serve and develop Kuwaiti handball.

He added that the meeting also addressed the activation of administrative and technical positions and titles within the handball sector, emphasizing the clubs’ commitment to completing the technical and administrative structure for each team, including a head coach, assistant coach, goalkeeping coach, physiotherapist, team doctor, and data analyst.
