Sisi directs expediting case resolutions and implementing the highest cybersecurity standards

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi emphasized the “necessity of continuing efforts to upgrade the judicial system, alleviate burdens, expedite the resolution of backlog cases, and increase completion rates, thereby enhancing citizens’ trust in state institutions.”

The Presidency stated in a press release that el-Sisi stressed, during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Justice Minister Mahmoud Helmy El-Sharif in the new city of Alamein on Monday, the “expansion of advanced services, reaffirming the state’s commitment to building an integrated governmental service system befitting citizens.”

While reviewing the “City of Justice” project in the new capital east of Cairo, el-Sisi said the expected goal of the city is “to establish an integrated digital judicial environment befitting the new Republic, ensuring the facilitation of access to timely justice and providing distinguished judicial services to citizens.”

El-Sisi stressed “the importance of applying the highest standards of cybersecurity and digital sovereignty to protect litigants’ data,” affirming the necessity of taking all measures that ensure the swift enforcement of rulings issued in alimony cases.
