After a 12-year hiatus, Public Works resumes completion of Sabah Al-Nasser Bridge

Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Mohammed Al-Mutawa inspected the Sabah Al-Nasser Bridge project today, Monday, to review the final stages of completion and monitor ongoing construction activities. This visit coincided with the opening of a section of the bridge for traffic coming from the Sixth Ring Road in the direction of Salwa toward Road 604 (Kabd), as well as the opening of the exit for traffic coming from the Sixth Ring Road in the direction of Jahra toward Road 604 (Kabd), in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
This development comes within the framework of efforts to complete the Sabah Al-Nasser Bridge project, which had seen work halted for approximately 12 years, before construction and completion resumed at an accelerated pace, in line with the Ministry of Public Works’ plans to advance vital projects toward completion.
This progress is the result of intensified field supervision by Minister Al-Mutawa and the ministry’s teams, along with her directives to accelerate construction activities and fulfill all remaining requirements to reach the final stages of the project.
The Sabah Al-Nasser Bridge is considered a vital project that, upon completion, will contribute to improving traffic flow on the Sixth Ring Road and Road 604 (Kabd), enhancing the efficiency of the road network, and serving the residents of the area, thereby positively impacting traffic movement in the region.
