"Al-Isleh" Participates for the First Time in the Istanbul International Book Fair

The Al-Islah Social Association is participating for the first time in the Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair, held at the Eurasia Hall in the Yenikapi district of Istanbul, from the 15th to the 23rd of this month, within its A54 pavilion. The participation takes place amid an international presence that reflects the breadth of its cultural and intellectual mission, and its commitment to showcasing its long-standing experience in community service, as well as highlighting its publications and cultural and intellectual endeavors before a broad Arab and Islamic audience.

In a statement on Sunday, the association said that its participation in the fair aims to present a selection of its publications that represent various aspects of its intellectual, cultural, and social mission, alongside introducing the association’s history and experience since its establishment. Its pavilion features publications from the Da’wah and Islamic Education sector, community publications, Namaa Charity publications, and a number of brochures and informational materials that document part of the association’s journey, projects, and programs, such as the annual administrative report, the annual sustainability report, and the book “Documents of Reform,” among others.

The participation also introduces a new publication, distributed for the first time during the fair, which documents Al-Islah Social Association’s publications since its establishment. This represents an important addition to the association’s archival content, offering readers and researchers a comprehensive picture of its intellectual and cultural journey and the publications it has produced over decades.

Abdulrahman Al-Shatti, the Director of Public Relations and Media at the association, stated that Al-Islah’s participation in the Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair marks an important milestone in its cultural journey, representing its first international presence at this event. He emphasized that openness to international cultural activities aligns with the association’s mission to engage with diverse communities and showcase the Kuwaiti experience in community and cultural work.

Al-Shatti added that the association’s participation primarily aims to present aspects of its cultural and intellectual heritage through its diverse publications. He noted that the pavilion offers visitors samples of publications from the Da’wah and Islamic Education sector and community publications, alongside the new publication documenting the association’s output since its founding. This provides fair visitors with the opportunity to learn about a significant aspect of the association’s intellectual and cultural journey.
