$3 million from “Trolley” to the Emergency Response Fund

In a move that embodies national solidarity and the private sector’s engagement with the state’s strategic initiatives, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced, in two separate statements, four new financial contributions totaling $5 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund. These contributions were provided by Trolley General Trading Company ($3 million), Badr Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Milhim Group ($1 million), Arab Real Estate Company ($500,000), and National Industries Company ($500,000).
In its first statement, the Fund noted that Trolley’s joining the list of supporters reflects the broadening scope of national partnership and the diversity of sectors contributing to achieving the Fund’s objectives. This directly enhances the Fund’s financial resources, directing them toward urgent priority interventions and projects.
Trolley General Trading Company is a leading Kuwaiti firm in the retail sector. Established in 2010, it launched from Kuwait with a vision to redefine the concept of convenience stores and provide consumers with easy access to their daily needs. Over more than 15 years, the company has evolved into one of the most prominent operators of convenience stores in Kuwait, expanding regionally and entering the Saudi market.
In its second statement, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced contributions totaling $2 million, provided by Badr Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Milhim Group ($1 million), Arab Real Estate Company ($500,000), and National Industries Company ($500,000).
The Fund emphasized that the participation of these three companies among the Fund’s supporters highlights the role of the private sector in supporting national initiatives and strengthening partnerships between state institutions and the private sector, thereby bolstering the Fund’s resources and directing them toward priority needs and interventions.
