"Tam" concludes "Professional Readiness Experience" for 65 students

Tamim Digital Bank concluded the academic educational program “Professional Readiness Experience” (PRE), as part of a strategic partnership with the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Talent and Creativity, one of the centers under the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences. The program involved 65 students studying medicine and engineering, aiming to enhance scientific capabilities, skill development, and practical experiences. The program was designed to the highest standards to meet all the needs and requirements of the trainees.
The program, which ran from August 2 to 13, underscored the bank’s efforts in empowering youth, developing their skills, and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation. It also highlighted the bank’s commitment to expanding the center’s impact through a diverse range of programs, training courses, events, and specialized meetings that support creative scientific thinking. This represents an added value to the national youth asset, who are capable of making positive contributions to societal development and participating in national development and civilizational progress plans.
Over the course of the program, 25 engineering students and 40 medical science students engaged in classes and studies led and supervised by doctors and experts in the relevant fields. They delivered scientific and practical sessions focused on understanding the nature of professions, preparing for the work environment, applying practical experiments, interacting with faculty members, and emphasizing required skills. The participants’ status as high school students helped create a diverse educational environment that encouraged collaboration and knowledge exchange. The program successfully bridged the gap between academic education and the workplace, providing students with practical exposure to real business environments, field experiences, and practical professional skills.
The program was characterized by positive interaction and strong participation. Participants welcomed the initiative and expressed their appreciation for the practical knowledge, networking opportunities, and many found these experiences highly valuable and a significant step forward in preparing them for their future careers.
At the conclusion of the program, Nida Al-Daihani, General Manager of the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Talent and Creativity, stated that the program represents the first fruit of cooperation with Tamim Digital Bank. She expressed great satisfaction that it truly constitutes a qualitative addition to the center’s efforts in building an integrated national system to support talent and creativity. She noted that cooperation with leading national institutions helps expand the impact of the center’s programs and initiatives, providing youth with greater opportunities to benefit from the educational and competitive programs offered by the center at both local and international levels.
For his part, Ahmed Al-Othman, Chief Executive Officer at Tamim Digital Bank, affirmed: “We are proud to launch this program in strategic collaboration with the center, which reflects the bank’s commitment to empowering youth, supporting national talents, developing academic aspects, and fostering a spirit of creativity and innovation. We look forward to contributing to the launch and sponsorship of new, high-quality initiatives that help develop the capabilities of the emerging generation and create opportunities that enable them to realize their potential and contribute to building a brighter future.”
