"The Little Storyteller" Delivers Simplified Messages for Children

KUNA – As part of the eighteenth edition of the “Summer Cultural Festival,” organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters from August 5 to 30, trainer Inaam Al-Hindal presented a workshop titled “The Little Storyteller” at the Children’s Hall of the Kuwait National Library.
The workshop combined the enjoyment of storytelling with health awareness, beginning with the tale “Qadour and Duroos,” which engaged a young audience aged 4 to 8. The story, written by Dr. Entisar Al-Hindal, was used to convey simplified, age-appropriate health messages, while encouraging children to listen to their parents’ advice and choose nutritious foods.
Inaam Al-Hindal, who holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and is a certified trainer, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the story presents health concepts to children in a simple and appealing manner, helping them understand the importance of proper nutrition and dental care, and transforming these concepts into daily habits.
She praised the efforts of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, highlighting its continuous support and commitment to encouraging children to read and raising awareness among parents and children about the importance of utilizing holiday time in beneficial and purposeful activities.
The “Little Storyteller” workshop comes within the framework of the National Council for Culture’s interest in providing cultural and educational activities for children that combine reading, learning, and interaction, contributing to the development of their skills, strengthening their love for books, and making productive use of their holiday time.
