Youth Hand to Jordan... Tuesday

The new draw, which was re-conducted following the withdrawal of the Japan and Chinese Taipei national teams, placed the “Blue Youth” team in Group 2 alongside Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, and Syria.

The team’s preparation phase began under the leadership of former Croatian coach Ivan, but he later declined to continue due to the current security conditions in the region. The “Blues” then moved to an external training camp in Slovenia, where they played several preparatory matches, before returning to the country and setting up an internal training camp at Arena Mall.

Faisal Saywan considered the group the team was drawn into to be difficult, given the noticeable progress of the competing teams.
