Minister of Social Affairs Inspects the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities

Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, conducted an inspection visit today, Sunday, to the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities to review ongoing operations and follow up on various files and issues related to services provided to persons with disabilities.

In a statement to the press, Minister Al-Huwail said the visit was part of continuous field follow-up aimed at enhancing the level of services provided by the Authority, addressing observations, and overcoming challenges to meet the aspirations of beneficiaries. She emphasized the importance of completing required preparations and ensuring the readiness of facilities to provide more efficient and accessible services to persons with disabilities and their families.

She further noted that she monitored the readiness of the measurement room at the Authority’s branch in the Salwa area to assess the necessary preparations and arrangements for its operation, which would contribute to providing a suitable environment for delivering measurement and assessment services.
