"Supply" ... in National Hands

As part of efforts to expand the participation of national talents in the cooperative sector and provide more employment opportunities for citizens, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, Social Security, and Family Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaili announced the Kuwaitization of the Supply Branch Manager position in 12 cooperative societies, as part of a plan aimed at Kuwaitizing this role across all cooperative societies.

Speaking to KUNA on Saturday, Minister Al-Huwaili stated that the ministry is directly monitoring the implementation of the plan according to defined stages, aimed at broadening the involvement of national talents in the cooperative sector.

She added that completing the Kuwaitization process in the 12 societies represents one phase of a comprehensive plan that will continue sequentially to cover the remaining societies, while adhering to the conditions and regulations for filling the position and prioritizing qualified national talents.

She revealed that the coming period will see the announcement of additional vacancies in cooperative societies after completing the inventory of positions and finalizing the related organizational procedures, reaffirming the ministry’s continued policy of empowering national cadres in supervisory and support roles within the cooperative sector.

Minister Al-Huwaili emphasized that the Kuwaitization plan is not limited to filling vacancies but aims to build national cadres capable of assuming responsibility and contributing to the development and efficiency of cooperative work, thereby enhancing the quality of services provided to members and consumers.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Social Affairs announced on July 28 the immediate commencement of Kuwaitizing the Supply Branch Manager position, a support role in cooperative societies, granting priority in nomination and appointment procedures to national talents who meet the required conditions.
