The Commercial Bank Enhances Marine Biodiversity and Its Sustainability

In line with its ongoing commitment to social and environmental responsibility, Kuwait Finance House, in collaboration with its employees, launched a beach cleanup initiative at Marina Beach, aimed at removing waste and debris from the coastlines, protecting the marine environment from harmful practices, and promoting biodiversity while preserving and enhancing the sustainability of the marine ecosystem. The initiative is part of the bank’s continuous efforts to achieve the objectives of its “Go Green” campaign, which seeks to raise environmental awareness and contribute to environmental conservation.

Commenting on the initiative, Amani Al-Wara’, Deputy General Manager for Corporate Communications, said: “We at Kuwait Finance House believe in the importance of preserving the marine environment and beaches as a fundamental part of our social and environmental responsibility. We aim to support efforts to protect these natural resources and the marine environment from pollution, and to promote a culture of environmental conservation and raise awareness of its importance among all members of society.”

She added that the initiative is part of a series of efforts and events organized by Kuwait Finance House under the “Go Green” campaign to enhance environmental awareness and encourage volunteerism across various fields, reflecting the bank’s commitment to the environment and society.
