Handball Federation Meets with Clubs

The Kuwait Handball Federation will hold a coordination meeting at 8:00 PM on Sunday at its headquarters in Al-Daiya, with the sports directors of local clubs participating in handball competitions.

The meeting comes as part of the federation’s commitment to strengthening communication with clubs, listening to their views and proposals, and discussing the key positives and negatives of the past sports season, alongside exploring ideas and proposals aimed at developing handball competitions and enhancing technical and administrative performance in the new season.

In the same context, the federation plans to hold another coordination meeting before the start of the new season with youth team coaches at the clubs.

Meanwhile, the Kuwait Club men’s handball team today launched its preparations for the new season at the club’s indoor arena, under the guidance of Brazilian coach Marcus Oliveira.

The technical staff is focused on preserving the team’s achievements and titles, after the “Whites” successfully won the league championship, the Federation Cup, and the Super Cup, in addition to completing their campaigns in the 2025-2026 season.

On the other hand, the team’s roster saw the departure of several players this season, including Qatari expatriate Franckis Marzou and Portuguese expatriate Victor Etoriza, along with local players Mohammed Amer, Mishari Saywan, Yaqoub Asiri, Mohammed Al-Boushi, Fahad Al-Haddad, Meshal Tah, and Ali Safar. Some have moved to other clubs, while others are still awaiting confirmation of their next destinations.

Team manager Samah Al-Hajjar emphasized that the club’s management, the sports department, the technical and administrative staff, and the players are keen on providing the best conditions and preparing adequately for the new sports season. He noted that preparations will continue across technical, physical, and administrative levels, and that the “White Hand” aims to remain a strong contender for all domestic and international titles.
