Rome – AFP – Italian international midfielder Davide Frattesi has moved from Inter to Lazio on a one-year loan with an option to buy.
The 26-year-old returns to the club where he began his career as a youth player, before moving to rivals Roma, and then to Sassuolo, where he made his name between 2021 and 2023.
Frattesi had been a key figure in the plans of Inter’s former coach Simone Inzaghi, but his playing time decreased last season under the guidance of Romanian coach Cristian Chivu.
Lazio, ninth in the league and cup runners-up last season, have signed former Italy national team coach Gennaro Gattuso.
