Brussels records its hottest day of the year

Belgium, like large parts of Europe, is experiencing a new heatwave, adding to previous ones that broke records in several countries.

According to calculations by Agence France-Presse, areas in Europe home to at least 150 million people recorded temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius on Friday.
