Kuwait Fireforce Continues 'Safe Summer' Campaign, Urges Public Participation in Its Activities

The General Fire Force, represented by its Public Relations and Media Department, continued its summer awareness campaign, themed “A Safe Summer with the Fire Department,” at Marina Mall on Friday. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the risks and causes of fires and drowning incidents, which increase during the summer season, and to promote a culture of prevention and reinforce safety concepts among members of society.

The General Fire Force stated via its X (formerly Twitter) account that the campaign includes a variety of awareness programs running throughout the summer season. These include field exhibitions, educational lectures, maritime tours, and visits to shopping malls, as well as government and private entities, to provide guidance on safety requirements, fire and accident prevention measures, and proper response procedures in emergencies.

The campaign also focuses on raising awareness about the importance of adhering to safety procedures at recreational, maritime, and residential sites, highlighting the main causes of fires and accidents and their prevention methods. Additionally, it disseminates preventive guidelines that contribute to enhancing community preparedness and reducing risks.

The General Fire Force has called on members of society to engage with the campaign’s activities, benefit from its educational programs, and comply with safety guidelines and instructions, thereby helping to protect lives and property and ensuring a safe summer season.
