“Talabat” hosts the latest edition of “NTG” in collaboration with “ISCA”

Talabat, the leading on-demand needs application in the Middle East and North Africa, hosted the latest edition of the NTG (Next Tech Gen) program at its headquarters, in collaboration with AIESEC in Kuwait, a global non-profit organization dedicated to developing youth leadership skills, run entirely by and for young people.
The one-day visit event involved participation from organization members and youth delegations, featuring dialogue sessions moderated by a panel of experts, alongside a field tour inside the company’s headquarters that allowed participants to closely observe the internal work environment and the nature of daily operations.
NTG is an ongoing monthly initiative organized by Talabat to facilitate knowledge transfer and experience sharing, through sessions led by a select group of the company’s technology leaders, delivered interactively at universities and academic institutions across Kuwait. The initiative aims to share practical and field-based expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence, product development, data management, and digital platforms, thereby supporting and nurturing the emerging technical talent in the country.
Commenting on the event, Amal Bu Khamseen, Director of Corporate Affairs at Talabat Kuwait, said: “We believe that true and fruitful learning stems from direct field experience. There is a significant difference between merely listening about how a leading regional tech company manages and develops its operational mechanisms, and actually experiencing it firsthand while interacting with the personnel, culture, and ideas that drive the company’s daily operations. From this perspective, we are proud of our partnership with AIESEC in Kuwait to provide this opportunity to young talents and support the next generation of digital competencies in Kuwait.”
The knowledge-sharing day highlighted three main themes: a comprehensive overview of Talabat’s business model and operations; an inside look at the company’s work environment, culture, and employee experience; and a specialized session on the role of data in guiding and making marketing decisions.
On her part, Lilian Mansour, Regional Director at AIESEC, stated: “The NTG program, organized by Talabat, provided me with a valuable opportunity to gain new knowledge and expertise in marketing and personnel development. What stood out most to me was the similarity between Talabat’s working style and the way we operate at AIESEC in Kuwait, and seeing these practices implemented in a professional work environment. Everyone was extremely welcoming and supportive, showing genuine interest in our educational experience.”
Through NTG and its strategic partnerships with leading entities such as AIESEC in Kuwait, Talabat continues to provide opportunities for young talents and build bridges between academic knowledge and practical application, enabling young people to broaden their horizons and acquire real-world field experience within a business environment.
