Kuwait Projects Company (KIPCO) announced a net profit of 5.3 million Kuwaiti dinars during the first six months of 2026, compared with 10.2 million dinars in the corresponding period of 2025. Earnings per share stood at 0.3 fils.

The decline in KIPCO’s net profit was primarily driven by lower contributions from the energy, banking, real estate, hospitality, industrial, and logistics sectors, reflecting the impact of geopolitical conditions on these industries.

Operating revenues rose by 3.49 percent to reach 795.9 million dinars, compared with 769.1 million dinars in the same period of 2025.

During the second quarter of 2026, KIPCO recorded a net profit of 1.8 million dinars, while operating profit increased by 35.93 percent to 52.2 million dinars, up from 38.4 million dinars in the corresponding period of 2025.

KIPCO’s total revenue from operations reached 420 million dinars in the second quarter, an increase of 8.95 percent compared with 385.5 million dinars in the second quarter of 2025. Shareholders’ equity also rose by 1.79 percent to 656.5 million dinars, compared with 644.9 million dinars at the end of 2025.

The group’s consolidated assets amounted to 14.45 billion dinars at the end of the first half of 2026, compared with 13.82 billion dinars at the end of 2025.

Commenting on the results, Sheikha Adana Nasser Al-Sabah, CEO of the KIPCO Group, said, “The first half of the year witnessed difficult exceptional conditions, amid ongoing uncertainty in the region.” She added, “Despite these circumstances, KIPCO continued to generate profits, reflecting the strength of our investment portfolio and the resilience of our core companies. More importantly, we maintained our focus on executing our plans and advancing the strategic priorities we have set for the group.”

She continued, “We continue to operate based on a disciplined approach to capital management and operational efficiency, with a focus on preserving and enhancing value for our stakeholders. As we closely monitor developments in our surrounding environment, we remain committed to implementing our strategy and strengthening our companies’ operations, positioning them to capitalize on opportunities that market developments may present.”
