Trump: White House Press Secretary to Leave Post at End of Current Month

US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday via his Truth Social platform that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will step down from her position “at the end of the month” to focus on her family, after she recently gave birth to a second child.

In a separate post, Leavitt described the decision as “a mix of joy and sadness,” expressing her “deep gratitude” to the US president and confirming that she will work as an outside advisor in the future.
