Honoring Former Security Leaders in Al-Furwaniya

Kuwaiti officials honored former security leaders in the Al-Farwaniya Governorate

The Governor of Al-Farwaniya and the Acting Governor of the Capital, Sheikh Adbi Nasser Al-Adbi Al-Sabah, honored a number of former security leaders in the governorate at his office on Wednesday, on the occasion of the conclusion of their terms of service and in appreciation of the efforts and distinguished contributions they made to serve the governorate and strengthen its security system.

The ceremony honored former Director General of the Al-Farwaniya Governorate Security Directorate, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Ghassab, his former deputy, Brigadier General Yahya Dashti, and the former Director of the Governorate’s Rescue Police Department, Colonel Mishaari Al-Mutairi.

The Governor expressed his deep appreciation for the dedication, loyalty, and devotion shown by the honored individuals in fulfilling their duties throughout their tenure, commending their role in consolidating the foundations of security and stability, and enhancing cooperation and coordination with Al-Farwaniya Governorate, which contributed to supporting security operations and serving citizens and residents.

For their part, the honored officials expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Governor for this kind gesture, affirming that the support and cooperation they received during their tenure served as motivation to exert further effort in fulfilling their national mission.

During the meeting, farmers extended an invitation to the Governor to attend the Dates and Figs Festival, which will be held at the Livestock Transport and Trading Company hall. They also outlined the festival’s objectives and its role in supporting local agricultural produce, encouraging farmers, and highlighting the quality and diversity of output from Kuwaiti farms.

The Governor emphasized the importance of holding such agricultural festivals, given their role in supporting farmers, marketing their products, and enhancing the status of local produce.
