Molina to Rome

Rome (AFP) – Italian club Roma completed the signing of Argentine right-back Nahuel Molina from Spanish side Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old, who won the 2022 World Cup, will wear the number 20 shirt for the Italian capital club, which returns to the UEFA Champions League this season.
According to various media reports, the deal is valued at approximately 17 million euros ($19.6 million).
Molina has earned 65 caps for the Argentina national team and was part of the squad that finished as runners-up in last month’s World Cup, having come on as a substitute in the final, which Argentina lost to Spain.
Molina is expected to make his debut for the Italian club in Roma’s Serie A opener against Fiorentina on the 24th.
