National Bank of Kuwait hosted a special event at its headquarters to announce the winners of the monthly “Al Jawhara” and “Al Jawhara Junior” draws, attended by several bank executives. The draw proceedings were broadcast live via the bank’s social media platforms, underscoring its commitment to the highest standards of transparency and strengthening its continuous engagement with customers.

The event saw the announcement of 11 new winners under the “Al Jawhara” program, which continues to consolidate its position as the largest draw program of its kind in Kuwait, by offering exceptional cash prizes and continuous winning opportunities throughout the year.

The draw results saw National Bank customer Jamal Qasim Gharir win the monthly “Al Jawhara” account prize valued at 125,000 Kuwaiti dinars. Additionally, three customers won in the weekly draw, each receiving a prize of 20,000 dinars.

Furthermore, the monthly “Al Jawhara Junior” draw was conducted, resulting in seven winners: three customers won cash prizes of 1,000 dinars each, and four customers won 500 dinars each. This initiative reflects the bank’s dedication to fostering a savings culture among younger generations and encouraging them to adopt sound financial habits from an early age.

All draws were conducted in the presence and under the supervision and monitoring of representatives from the global audit firms Deloitte and Grant Thornton, reflecting National Bank’s firm commitment to applying the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and equal opportunity in all draws it organizes.

Commenting on the occasion, Hisham Al-Nisf, Head of Personal Banking, said: “Over the years, the ‘Al Jawhara’ program has succeeded in building a distinctive relationship with customers, thanks to its ability to combine the concept of smart savings with exceptional winning opportunities, making it one of the most distinctive and popular banking draw programs in the Kuwaiti market.”

Al-Nisf added: “We continuously strive to enhance the customer experience associated with the ‘Al Jawhara’ program, not only through large and diverse prizes, but by offering a savings product that provides real value to customers and helps them achieve their financial goals, while maintaining the highest levels of transparency and credibility at all stages of the draws.”

He emphasized that the sustained interest in the program reflects customers’ confidence in the services and solutions offered by National Bank, noting that “Al Jawhara” continues to play its role in encouraging savings and providing a comprehensive banking experience that goes beyond the traditional concept of savings accounts.

The “Al Jawhara” account offers customers opportunities to win cash prizes throughout the year, including weekly and monthly draws, as well as the grand prize of one million Kuwaiti dinars, which is drawn three times a year, in addition to “Al Jawhara Junior” draw prizes. The total value of the program’s prizes amounts to 5 million dinars annually, making it the largest draw program of its kind in Kuwait.
