Trump: We are not suffering from any shortage of missile ammunition and we can strike Iran with great force

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States is “frustrated” by Iran’s negotiating style, accusing Tehran of dishonesty and evasion during talks.

Speaking on the “Voice of America” program, Trump affirmed that Iranians “agree with us inside meeting rooms, then reject what has been agreed upon through the media,” describing them as “extremely cunning negotiators… and extremely untrustworthy people.”

Trump continued, “If we had not struck Iran, it would have acquired a nuclear weapon,” stressing that the war was necessary to prevent Tehran from obtaining a nuclear arsenal.

He noted that oil prices are lower than they were during the administration of former US President Joe Biden, describing Iran’s economic situation as “in chaos,” and emphasizing that Tehran is “under immense economic pressure.”

He added, “We control Iran’s money and have complete control over it,” pointing out that “Iranians are not paying their soldiers’ salaries, inflation in Iran has reached 300 percent, and their currency is worthless.”
