Al-Yad Al-Barqaniyah camps in Macedonia in preparation for the Club World Cup

Al-Rayyan Handball Club continues its preparations for its historic participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, from September 24 until early October next year, alongside the new local season.

The team will hold a training camp in Macedonia from August 25 until September 20, during which it will play friendly matches.

Al-Rayyan faces tough matchups against some of the world’s strongest clubs, after successfully writing a new chapter in the club’s and Kuwaiti football history by winning the Asian Club Championship for the first time.

The draw placed Al-Rayyan in Group 2 alongside German club FC Berlin, Egyptian hosts Al Ahly, and the winner of the preliminary round match between Hungarian club Veszprém and Australian club Sydney.
