Trump: I directed negotiators to demand compensation from Iran as a decisive matter in the talks

US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he would seek compensation from Iran for the war as part of any future peace negotiations, recalling attacks and acts of violence dating back decades that Iran is suspected of supporting or carrying out. Trump wrote on social media, “Iran is demanding compensation for the damage it suffered during the five-month military conflict. In turn, I am demanding compensation from Iran for all the killed and wounded who fell as a result of its bombs planted on the sides of roads, and in several conflicts.”
