Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons for Cars Receives Three ISO Certifications for Quality, Sustainability, and Occupational Safety

Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons Automotive received a delegation from the body issuing the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certificates, holding a meeting with company representatives to review the key procedures and systems implemented in its operations, prior to presenting the company with three internationally accredited ISO certificates, which include:

The ISO 9001 certificate affirms Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons Automotive’s commitment to implementing an integrated quality management system focused on enhancing operational efficiency, elevating service levels, and boosting customer satisfaction through continuous review, evaluation, and development.

The ISO 14001 certificate reflects the company’s efforts to adopt environmentally responsible operational practices, improve resource management, and reduce waste and environmental impacts resulting from its activities, aligning with its sustainability and corporate responsibility initiatives.

The ISO 45001 certificate underscores the company’s dedication to applying the highest occupational health and safety standards by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks, fostering a safety culture across all work locations, and providing an environment that supports employee health, safety, and well-being.

Yousef Mustafa, General Manager at the company, stated: “Obtaining these three certificates marks a significant milestone in our company’s journey, reflecting our firm commitment to applying the highest global standards in quality, sustainability, and occupational health and safety. We do not view these certifications merely as corporate achievements, but as ongoing responsibilities that drive us to enhance our operations, elevate our customers’ experience, and provide a safe and sustainable work environment for our employees and partners.”

He added: “This achievement is the result of joint efforts and continuous collaboration among various departments and teams within the company, demonstrating our ability to operate within an integrated corporate framework that supports our long-term objectives and strengthens our position in the automotive sector in Kuwait and the region.”

Ahmad Sadiq Ma’arfi, Head of Shared Services and Business Development at the company, said: “Over the past period, we have integrated the requirements of quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety certifications into our daily operations, making these standards an essential part of our operational mechanisms and decision-making processes, rather than isolated procedures applied solely for accreditation.”

He continued: “Our operational approach includes continuous process review, performance indicator measurement, identification of improvement opportunities, and development of internal procedures, alongside employee training and raising awareness about the importance of quality, sustainability, and occupational safety. We also assess operational and environmental risks and implement necessary preventive and corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance with these certification requirements.”

He clarified that the significance of these certifications lies in their role in establishing a corporate culture based on quality and continuous improvement, enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing environmental impacts, and raising health and safety standards in the workplace, thereby positively benefiting employees, customers, partners, and all relevant stakeholders.

Ali Al-Ghanim & Sons Automotive’s acquisition of these three certificates reinforces its corporate approach based on continuous improvement and operational excellence, while demonstrating its ability to deliver high-quality services through an integrated operational system that considers the needs of customers, employees, the environment, and society.

The company is one of the entities within the Ali Al-Ghanim Automotive Group in Kuwait, which represents some of the world’s leading automotive and motorcycle brands, including BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Range Rover, Defender, Discovery, McLaren, Geely, and BMW Motorrad.
