Ayaed Reschedules Event... at the Jaber Cultural Center

Saudi star Ayed Youssef is once again bringing his artistic repertoire to Kuwait, renewing his longstanding bond with an audience that has consistently provided one of the warmest milestones in his career. He will take the stage at the National Theatre within the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre on the evening of Friday, September 18, as part of the opening of the 2026/2027 Cultural Season. The evening promises to blend musical enchantment, grand production values, and the massive audience interaction the artist is known for during every visit to Kuwait.

Produced and organized by Musicon, the event marks the second official collaboration between the company and the Saudi star, following the remarkable success of their first partnership. This achievement prompted both parties to renew their alliance for a new project that aims to deliver a comprehensive musical experience.

In a statement to Al-Rai, producer Shahin Badr Al-Battain explained that Ayed’s selection for the new cultural season was no coincidence. It stems from his esteemed status among Gulf music stars and the distinctive relationship he shares with the Kuwaiti public.

“Ayed is not just an artist who performs a concert in Kuwait; he is an artist who shares a genuine connection with the Kuwaiti audience. We witnessed this firsthand during his previous concert, both in terms of attendance size and the intense interaction throughout the evening. Even after the show ended, messages and demands for his return continued, so it was only natural for us to work on reuniting him with his fans at the earliest opportunity,” he said.

Regarding Ayed’s connection with Kuwait, the producer elaborated: “Ayed always speaks to me, and to everyone else, about his happiness in performing in Kuwait. It is one of the venues where he feels closest to his audience. Moreover, Kuwaitis naturally possess a high artistic sensibility, granting the artist exceptional energy on stage, which makes his concerts here unique by every measure.”

He continued, “Following the success of our previous collaboration, we were convinced that this partnership was worth continuing. Today, we embark on our second official cooperation with him, confident that it will achieve the same level of success, if not greater. We have a clear vision to present concerts worthy of the Kuwaiti audience, which is why we pay attention to every detail, from production and direction to sound quality, lighting, and the artistic program.”

Describing the atmosphere of the concert, Al-Battain noted, “The evening will not be a traditional musical concert, but rather a journey showcasing the most significant milestones in Ayed’s artistic career. He will celebrate with his audience his latest work, ‘Sadeet Muta’ammed’ (Intentionally Missed), which has received widespread response since its release, alongside a selection of his most famous songs associated with Gulf audiences, including ‘Lamah,’ ‘Ma Hada Baly,’ ‘Raddi,’ ‘Tajinni,’ ‘La Tabali,’ and ‘Kareh Nafsi,’ among many others. The night will also feature selections from his album ‘Ayed 2025,’ accompanied by the musical band led by Maestro Ahmed Taha.”

He added, “The audience comes to listen to the songs they love and have memorized, but they also anticipate surprises. Therefore, we worked with Ayed to ensure the program combines his popular hits with new works, allowing attendees to experience a complete evening filled with musical delight, emotion, and interaction.”
