Trump: We are dealing calmly with Iran... and conducting only partial negotiations

US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Axios on Sunday that his administration is monitoring the growing economic pressure on Iran, following months of US military airstrikes on Iran and the imposition of sanctions and a blockade.

Trump was quoted during a brief phone call as saying, “We are handling the matter calmly… We are only conducting partial negotiations with them… We are merely observing Iran amid the massive inflation it is suffering and the reality that it has no money.”
