Al-Namsh: External camp for "Blue Plane"

Kuwait Volleyball Federation Secretary-General Talal Al-Namsh stated that the decision to reschedule the completion of the competitions, which had been postponed due to the current situation in the region, was linked to the national senior team’s participation in the Arab Nations Cup, scheduled to be held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from October 8 to 18 next month.

He noted that the national team’s preparation period will begin in early September, and that coordination will take place with the General Authority for Sports to arrange an overseas training camp prior to the tournament, ensuring the players’ readiness and a performance that reflects the standing of Kuwaiti volleyball at the Arab level.

Meanwhile, the Kuwait national team will kick off its campaign in the second edition of the Arab Youth Championship, which begins on Sunday in Bahrain with a match against Saudi Arabia. Jordan will face Egypt, and Algeria will take on Bahrain.

The tournament will be played in a single-round robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals. Kuwait will continue its campaign by facing Egypt on Monday, Bahrain on Wednesday, and Jordan on Friday, before concluding the group stage with a match against Algeria on the 16th.
