Lightning kills Thai player during football match

Samkolth Suwan player Oway, 24, died a few days after signing with the team during a match against Abu Eks Nong, which was played amid heavy rainfall.

Footage that spread on social media showed a bright flash striking near several players, followed by an explosion and the collapse of several individuals on the field. Oway sustained severe injuries before being declared dead at the hospital.
