1,430 used tires seized in a warehouse... "Renew them"

Inspection teams from the Capital Inspection Control at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Farwaniya Governorate Criminal Investigation Department, seized an illegal warehouse that was storing, cleaning, refurbishing, and reconditioning used tires with the intent of displaying and selling them to consumers as safe for use.

Faisal Al-Ansari, Director of the Commercial Control Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, stated that the seizure followed prior monitoring and surveillance of the warehouse. The operation resulted in the confiscation of 1,430 used car tires, along with tools and equipment used for polishing and refurbishing tires.

Al-Ansari emphasized that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry continues to intensify its inspection rounds to detect and seize any practices that could harm consumer safety or violate regulations, urging the public to report any violations through the Ministry’s official channels.
