Kazma defeats Saudi Al-Raed in a friendly match

Kazma defeated Saudi side Al-Raed 4-1 in a friendly match played on Thursday in the Turkish city of Izmit, as part of their pre-season training camp.

The match was the second for the "Orange" team in the camp, following a 2-2 draw with Qatari side Al-Waab. They are scheduled to face Bahraini side Al-Khalidiya and Algerian side Olympique de Chlef on the 10th and 13th of the current month, respectively.

In the second half, the coach fielded several players, including goalkeeper Faisal Al-Subaie, Algerian Idris Shaibi, Nasser Al-Fahad, Jara Al-Hilali, and Kenol.

Also in Izmit, Salmiya drew 0-0 with Qatari side Al-Markhiya in their second friendly encounter of the camp.

The team had previously lost 3-0 to Egyptian side Zamalek in their first outing.

Salmiya has two matches remaining in the camp, against Olympique de Chlef on Monday and Al-Khalidiya on the 13th of the month.

The team resumed training the day after their friendly against Portsmouth, who play in the English Championship, on Wednesday. They lost that match 2-0, which was their second defeat in the camp, having lost their first 1-0 to Milton Keynes Dons (League One), a club owned by Kuwaiti investors.

The "Whites" are expected to play at least one more match in London, where they will face second-tier side Barnet on Sunday. The technical staff, led by Portuguese manager Alexandre Santos, will determine the feasibility of a fourth match, with the opponent and date to be announced later.

Manager Santos is expected to have met with the players to discuss key points from the recent trial, highlighting errors made by the players to avoid in the next phase.

In the Egyptian city of Alexandria, Fehailya drew 1-1 with Al-Sakel Al-Hadeed (Railway Club) in their first experimental match of their camp, which runs until the 17th of the month.

Slovakian coach Martin Sevela sought to give playing time to as many of the 26 players he brought to the camp as possible during the trial.
