Kuwait's National Committee for Aviation Security and Facilitation Discussed Travel Facilitation

The General Authority of Civil Aviation stated in a press release that the meeting discussed the items on the committee’s agenda, foremost among them enhancing coordination between security agencies and entities operating at Kuwait International Airport, improving passenger facilitation facilities, and raising the efficiency of security controls.
The authority added that the committee monitored the implementation of the travel facilitation systems and requirements approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), thereby enhancing the efficiency of procedures at Kuwait International Airport. It clarified that the meeting also examined modern international treaties related to civil aviation and ways to update laws and procedures to keep pace with modern technology, while emphasizing the need to complete procedures and recommendations through coordination among the relevant authorities.
