Applications open for the Khalifa Educational Award until the end of December next year

The College of Education at Kuwait University announced that applications for the 20th edition (2026–2027) of the Khalifa Educational Award, which launched on July 14, remain open until the end of December next year.

In this context, Dr. Laila Al-Khayat Al-Azmi, the coordinator of the Khalifa Educational Award in Kuwait, affirmed Kuwait University’s commitment, as the coordinating body for the award in the country, to continue cooperation and coordination with the General Secretariat of the Khalifa Educational Award. This collaboration aims to strengthen institutional partnership in supporting excellence and innovation in education, thereby translating the university’s strategic pillar of distinguished presence at both regional and international levels. She noted that the university is working to raise awareness of the award’s fields and categories, encouraging individuals and institutions to participate with their achievements and educational initiatives. This effort contributes to highlighting outstanding national experiences, exchanging expertise, and consolidating a culture of excellence within the educational sector.

Dr. Al-Azmi clarified that the 20th edition comprises ten fields and eighteen categories at local, Arab, and international levels. It also introduces a new category, “Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in Education,” within the field of Innovative Educational Projects and Programs. This category aims to honor initiatives that leverage innovation and artificial intelligence to enhance the quality of education and create a sustainable educational impact. She called on individuals and institutions to nominate themselves and participate with their achievements and educational initiatives during the period for receiving nomination requests.
