Murad Yousef Bahbahani Group Supports the Response Fund with $3 Million

In line with the continued support of private sector institutions for national initiatives, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced on Wednesday a contribution of $3 million from the Murad Youssef Bahbahani Group to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, launched on July 5 last year, with the aim of enhancing the country’s readiness and improving the efficiency of the emergency response system for various crisis situations.
In a statement, the Fund emphasized that the Murad Youssef Bahbahani Group’s contribution reflects the ongoing engagement of private sector institutions with the national initiative and demonstrates their commitment to supporting efforts aimed at strengthening national readiness, thereby enabling relevant authorities to handle different emergency circumstances efficiently and effectively.
It added that private sector contributions constitute a fundamental pillar in supporting the national response system by providing the necessary resources and capabilities to enhance readiness and response efficiency, and to empower relevant authorities to implement priority projects, thereby reinforcing the concept of national partnership and strengthening the country’s resilience in facing various challenges.
