Kuwait Finance House Receives Tax Compliance Certificate from India

Kuwait Airways announced that it has received a Tax Compliance Certificate from India’s Ministry of Finance for the second consecutive fiscal year, recognizing the company’s commitment to filing tax and financial returns and settling all due obligations in accordance with the laws, regulations, and rules in force in India.

In this regard, Acting Chief Executive Captain Abdulwahab Al-Shatti said that Kuwait Airways’ receipt of this certificate for the second consecutive year reflects the institutional approach the company follows in managing its operations and its dedication to complying with all legal and regulatory requirements in the countries where it operates flights, aligning with global best practices in governance and financial compliance.

Al-Shatti added, “This recognition is the result of cooperation and coordination among the company’s various departments, and it underscores the efficiency of the corporate operational system and its ability to meet financial and tax obligations with the highest levels of accuracy and professionalism. This contributes to strengthening the confidence of regulatory bodies and partners, and supports the prestigious standing of Kuwait’s national carrier.”

He noted that Kuwait Airways places great importance on enhancing its compliance and internal control systems, considering them a fundamental pillar of business sustainability, and affirmed that the company continuously develops its administrative and financial procedures to align with legislative and regulatory requirements in the various markets in which it operates.
