Jordan Youth arrive tomorrow

The Jordanian U-20 national football team delegation will arrive tomorrow, Thursday, for a visit to Kuwait, during which they will play two friendly matches against their Kuwaiti counterparts on August 8 and 11.

The two matches are part of the preparations for both teams ahead of the AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers, scheduled from August 31 to September 6 next year. The draw placed the Jordanian “Blue Youth” in Group 7 alongside host nation Cambodia, Japan, and Yemen, while the Kuwaiti “Nashama” will face host nation Bahrain, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan in Group 4.

The Kuwaiti national team, coached by Croatian manager Vedran Milin, recently returned from the Netherlands, where they participated in a training camp that included several friendly matches, most notably against Dutch club Dordrecht, which they won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mosafer Al-Adwani.
