KIB Launches New «Premium»

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has announced the launch of its new “Premium” package, offering a more distinguished banking experience that enriches customers’ lifestyles and supports their aspirations. The launch of this package is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to consolidate its premium benefits and banking services into this dedicated package, meeting customers’ needs and providing greater financial flexibility and personalized services.

On this occasion, Osman Tawfiqi, General Manager of Personal Banking at KIB, said: “We are pleased to launch the new (Premium) package from KIB, which reflects our continued commitment to delivering a more tailored banking experience to our customers. The package has been designed to provide value-added solutions by consolidating existing premium benefits and services offered by the bank, including priority banking services, exclusive card benefits, travel privileges, concierge services, a rewards and cashback program, and access to digital banking services.”

Tawfiqi clarified that the (Premium) package is available to both existing and new customers of Personal Banking who meet the approved eligibility criteria, which include a monthly salary ranging between 1,500 and 2,999 Kuwaiti dinars, or total deposits ranging between 30,000 and 99,999 dinars, or their equivalent in other currencies.

Eligible customers will benefit from a range of existing banking advantages, including a complimentary Visa-branded ATM card with a distinctive design, priority service through the 24/7 call center, priority transaction processing at all KIB branches, and an annual waiver of banking fees. They will also receive a complimentary Visa Signature credit card for the first year, enabling them to enjoy a wide array of existing bank benefits designed to enhance their lifestyle. These include access to over 1,200 airport lounges worldwide through the Visa Airport Companion program, complimentary multi-trip travel insurance for cardholders and their families for up to 90 days, fraud and misuse protection benefits, exclusive hotel offers, and discounts on booking and car rental services from selected providers. The card is also accepted at more than 1.9 million ATMs globally.

Visa Signature cardholders can also benefit from 24/7 local and international concierge services provided by a specialized team via phone or email. These services include assistance with flight, hotel, and car rental reservations, as well as restaurant bookings, ticket procurement, and hospitality packages for exclusive events.

Premium package customers also benefit from KIB’s recently developed rewards program, which offers a seamless digital experience through the KIB Mobile app. Reward points are calculated based on the customer’s tier and approved credit limit, enabling Premium customers to earn reward points worth up to 300 dinars per month. These points can be redeemed through a variety of options, including cashback on credit or prepaid cards, deposits into current or savings accounts, electronic vouchers, digital shopping, and the ability to gift or transfer points.
