Kuwait Finance House Empowers Persons with Disabilities and Enhances Their Integration into the Work Environment

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) launched the sixth edition of its training program to support and empower persons with disabilities, in collaboration with the Kuwait Association for the Care of the Disabled. The three-month program, running from August through the end of October 2026, aims to provide a comprehensive experience for skill acquisition and enable participants to integrate effectively into the labor market.
Ahmed Hamad Al-Hammad, Acting Head of Human Resources at KFH Group, stated that the training program, which includes 11 trainees, is part of KFH’s ongoing efforts to reinforce the concepts of corporate social responsibility and sustainability. He emphasized that the program’s continuity for six consecutive years, with the same momentum, attention, follow-up, and commitment to its success and presentation in the best possible manner, embodies the bank’s dedication to empowering its employees with disabilities and enhancing their integration into the work environment. He added that this strategic partnership plays a significant role in strengthening the bond and job loyalty of KFH employees, given the bank’s interest in this segment, which constitutes an integral part of society.
Al-Hammad stressed that the program builds upon achievements from previous editions, with an expanded training scope and broader departmental participation, providing participants with a realistic practical experience that helps them acquire skills and enhance their readiness for the labor market.
He noted that trainees are distributed across various departments within the bank, with new departments included for the first time this year as part of the training plan, reflecting KFH’s commitment to developing the program’s content and expanding its scope year after year.
He praised the trainees’ interaction with department officials during the program launch ceremony, noting that the bank ensured the presence of officials to meet the trainees and hand over their official work IDs in preparation for the start of their training journey. He highlighted that the training program offers a comprehensive experience that provides participants with genuine opportunities to acquire practical skills in a supportive environment that accommodates their needs and grants them appropriate opportunities for interaction and development.
Al-Hammad affirmed that KFH is committed to annually developing this program in cooperation with the Kuwait Association for the Care of the Disabled, as part of a strategic partnership aimed at supporting and empowering persons with disabilities, and enhancing institutional awareness regarding the importance of their integration into community development pathways.
For his part, Baraa Al-Janaahi, General Manager of the Kuwait Association for the Care of the Disabled, said, “We at the Association are proud of our extended partnership with KFH, which has reached its sixth edition of the training program this year.”
He added that the initiative is a clear example of constructive cooperation between the financial sector and civil society institutions, contributing directly to the empowerment of persons with disabilities by providing them with practical experience and skills that enhance their integration and independence in the work environment.
Al-Janaahi emphasized that this strategic partnership represents an extension of a solid relationship that has proven its positive impact over the past years in developing participants’ capabilities and enhancing their self-confidence, a trend we witness annually through the program’s evolving outcomes and its reflection on the trainees’ futures.
