Fuego Volcano Erupts in Guatemala.. Authorities Issue 'Danger' Alert

Guatemalan authorities issued a “high risk” alert, the second-highest level after the red alert, following the eruption of the Fuego volcano near the capital, which spewed lava and massive clouds of gas and ash.

The National Commission for Disaster Reduction in Guatemala announced on the X platform yesterday Monday that an orange alert (high risk) has been declared nationwide due to the eruption of the Fuego volcano, and reported the evacuation of residents from two small nearby villages.
