Bayern Munich releases three players

The Belgian coach clarified during a press conference that Bayern Munich’s management had directly informed the players concerned of the decision, enabling them to seek their next destination before the close of the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, German club Borussia Dortmund signed young Greek striker Konstantinos Karipidis from Belgian side Genk on Monday in a five-year deal. According to reports, the transfer fee amounted to 30 million euros ($34 million), plus additional incentives and bonuses.

Karipidis, 18, is capable of playing as a right winger or as an attacking midfielder. He has already scored three goals in 10 appearances for the Greek national team. Last season, he provided 11 assists in 28 league matches.
