Al-Badawi discusses with Al-Zoubi the latest developments in Yemen: supporting humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of the people

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Al-Budaiwi, held talks today, Monday, with Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Afrah Al-Zoubi on the latest developments in Yemen and the efforts undertaken to enhance security and stability, as well as to support peace and development processes.
The GCC Secretariat General stated in a press release that the discussion took place during Al-Budaiwi’s reception of the Yemeni Foreign Minister at the Secretariat General’s headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting covered the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the GCC and Yemen.
The statement noted that Al-Budaiwi reaffirmed the Council’s firm and supportive stance toward all initiatives aimed at achieving security and stability in fraternal Yemen, and reiterated its continued backing of all humanitarian and relief efforts designed to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, in coordination with regional and international partners.
