On this occasion, Al-Jassim stated that these initiatives reflect “Barqan’s” commitment to remaining close to the community it serves and celebrating the people, stories, and achievements that contribute to shaping Kuwait’s future.
She added: “The bank’s corporate slogan, ‘You Are Our Drive,’ embodies our commitment to listening to people, understanding their needs and aspirations, and building lasting relationships that contribute to creating a positive impact throughout various stages of their lives. Honoring Kuwait’s top graduates is one of the ways we translate this slogan into tangible reality, by recognizing young people’s efforts and supporting their journey toward further achievements and future successes. The support provided by Kuwaiti banking institutions to high-achieving students reflects deep national responsibility and contributes to providing an enabling environment for excellence and progress, in addition to serving as a strong motivation for other students to follow in their footsteps. While we highly value this role, we affirm that it supports our efforts and translates our initiatives aimed at building an inspiring and productive educational environment.”
For his part, Akbar stated, “The ceremony is not merely a celebration of outstanding academic results, but a sincere appreciation of the youth’s ambition, resilience, and latent potential, as they are the fundamental pillar in building Kuwait’s prosperous future. At Burgan Bank, we believe that supporting students goes beyond celebrating their excellence; it extends to building their capacities, developing their skills, and comprehensively preparing them for the next stage.”
He added, “We feel immense pride and honor in honoring the sons and daughters of Burgan Bank employees, as well as outstanding students from special education schools, alongside our colleagues who completed the ‘Kafa’a’ and ‘Burgan Cares’ programs. Their achievements clearly embody the deep value we place on learning, perseverance, and continuous development within the greater Burgan family. We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to continuing to support and empower young talents by providing them with confidence and opportunities, and encouraging innovation, leadership, and excellence.”

This gesture crowned exceptional efforts that reflect the results of years of focus, discipline, and determination, while also acknowledging the pivotal role of their families, schools, and teachers in supporting them to achieve this distinction.
In line with its commitment to the pillars of sustainability and its dedication to supporting all youth without exception, the bank honored outstanding students from special education schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education, who overcame various personal and academic challenges to achieve this excellence.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, attendees expressed their pride and admiration for the outstanding students, wishing them continued success in their future academic and university journeys. Burgan Bank reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to adopting and supporting initiatives and partnerships that contribute to empowering students and youth, while emphasizing its continuous investment in everything that develops the educational sector and elevates society, in alignment with the “New Kuwait 2035” vision.
Consistent with its annual tradition, Burgan Bank honored the outstanding children of employees during the ceremony. This gesture underscores the bank’s unwavering commitment, as the first bank in Kuwait to receive the “Great Place to Work®” certification, to fostering a culture of appreciation and pride in its workforce. It also reflects the bank’s dedication to supporting its employees and their families, and valuing their efforts in raising a promising generation, knowledgeable and future-ready.

The workshop also includes an awareness session on the banking awareness campaign “Let’s Be Aware,” aimed at promoting sound banking culture and financial literacy among students.
