$12 million: New contribution from the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

The Fund clarified in a press statement that Aayan for Leasing and Investment contributed $1 million. This contribution by the Aayan Group and its affiliated companies, including Aayan Holding for Leasing, East Gate Real Estate Company, and Mubard Holding, comes in line with their commitment to supporting national initiatives and enhancing the role of the private sector in contributing to efforts that serve society and bolster the country’s readiness.
The Fund noted that Abdulmohsin Al-Babtain contributed $3 million, aiming to strengthen national readiness and enhance Kuwait’s capacity to respond immediately to exceptional circumstances. It highlighted that the company is a leading national enterprise in Kuwait, with a history dating back to 1948, and holds diverse investments across several vital sectors.
It was further clarified that the National Industries Holding Group and its subsidiaries, represented by Noor Financial Investment Company and Al-Dorra National Real Estate Company, contributed a total of $5 million. This amount comprises $2 million from the National Industries Holding Group, $2 million from Noor Financial Investment Company, and $1 million from Al-Dorra National Real Estate Company. The Fund pointed out that the National Industries Group manages a diversified portfolio of activities spanning building materials, petrochemicals, oil and gas services, mechanical industries, utilities, real estate, infrastructure, and financial services, while holding significant stakes in various regional and international companies.
In the same context, the Fund announced a $1 million contribution from Al-Ahmadi for Contracting and Trading. It explained that this initiative embodies Al-Ahmadi’s sense of national and social responsibility, noting that the company is one of Kuwait’s most prestigious national enterprises. Since its establishment in 1954, its name has been linked to the country’s comprehensive urban development journey. Its rich history includes the execution of more than 62 strategic projects distributed across eight vital sectors.
The Fund also highlighted Agility Group’s contribution of $2 million, involving the group’s companies, which include Agility for Public Warehousing, National Real Estate Company, Sultan Center for General Trading and Contracting, Metals and Manufacturing Industries Company, United Projects for Air Services “U-PAK,” and Global Clearing House Systems. This participation reflects the group’s strategy to demonstrate its commitment to supporting national initiatives and enhancing their developmental impact.
The Fund emphasized that the contributions by these companies and business groups reflect their belief in the importance of public-private partnership in supporting national priorities. They embody the companies’ commitment to their national and social responsibilities and contribute to strengthening the country’s readiness and supporting the sustainability of vital services and facilities during emergencies.
