Al-Hawila: "Government Services Hall for Persons with Disabilities" Reinforces Equal Opportunities and Social Inclusion

On Sunday, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, and Social Development and Chair of the Supreme National Committee for the Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, reviewed a visual presentation of the project to establish and develop a hall dedicated to serving persons with disabilities at the Ministries Complex.
The presentation, delivered by the Ministry of Finance, outlined the artistic and engineering design of the project, which is being implemented by a specialized company. The project aims to provide a hall that houses representatives from several government entities to deliver their services in a single location.
The Minister stated that the project contributes to streamlining procedures and improving the experience of visitors with disabilities and their families through a unified service point that saves time and effort while enhancing the quality of government services provided to them.
She commended the efforts of the Ministry of Finance, in coordination with relevant government entities, to execute the project, emphasizing that this collaboration embodies the commitment of state institutions to unify efforts in providing an integrated service environment that addresses the needs of persons with disabilities.
She noted that the Supreme National Committee continues to monitor initiatives and projects that contribute to implementing the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, translating its objectives into practical projects that enhance quality of life and support the development of more inclusive and sustainable government services.
